THIS Saturday- Green My Parents comes to Good Works Space for a day full of fun and informative events for all ages!
Green My Parents is a youth movement based on seeding the green economy and saving the planet. Two 45-minute workshops, which align with the inspiring teachings in the renowned book, will be presented on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 12:30pm and 3pm.Youth and their parents can learn how to save the family over $100, by using a simple tips and ideas
and meet other teens who will inspire the “green” in you. Free, cool prizes will be awarded as part of the learning process.
Workshops are at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Lil Big Ups, a youth band who makes their own instruments from recycled materials will be performing.
