Thank you Go Campaign!

We couldn't have asked for a better evening for raising awareness and funds. Thank you Go Campaign for a wonderful night! The room was bustling with guests who came out to support the cause. Everyone loved the unique interactive installation, watching the mural change every time a poster was taken. Proceeds from the sale of hand woven Rwandan Peace Baskets went to benefit survivors of the genocide to support their families. Amazing music was provided by Daye Smith.

Go Campaign is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children globally. 100% of all public donations go to programs serving children. Since 2008, Go has funded over 35 projects in 15 countries.

Thank you Katherine!

Here at Good Works Space we are thrilled by the turnout for Katherine Schwarzenegger's booksigning for her new book "Rock What You've Got." In the book, Ms. Schwarzenegger shares her own experiences as a 'tween and teen to help girls and young women develop a healthy body image and self-esteem. Katherine is a junior at USC, and over the years has confidently made the transition to finding and instructing other girls on how to embrace their inner and outer beauty.

Also at the event were Vida bags (Vida, meaning life) created in 2009 by Katherine Schwarzenegger to benefit the ending of maternal mortality, both nationally and globally.

"ROCK WHAT YOU’VE GOT is an honest and open portrait of female body image in America. Growing up will always be a challenge, but with help from Katherine, young women can learn to internalize this all-important message: “We can only gain true happiness by loving ourselves, our inner and outer beauty, for all that we are and even for those things that we are not—or as I have defined it, learning to ROCK WHAT YOU’VE GOT!”

We'd also like to thank Fritto Misto for wonderful hors d'oeuvres and O.N.E. for supplying the guests with a refreshing selection of natural coconut and spring water.
